Aerotechnik GmbH in Salzburg has been founded in 1955 with the name ÖFAG (Österreichische Fahrzeugbau GmbH). The company was then transformed into an aircraft maintenance facility and in 1986 the company's name was changed into Aerotechnik. Today, Aerotechnik is the only aircraft maintenance facility at Salzburg Airport. In September 1994 Aerotechnik GmbH was certified according to JAR 145 regulations as a certified maintenance base. One year later the company became an official Cessna Service Centre. Today Aerotechnik is part of the Compass Holding. Thus Aerotechnik became part of the dynamic Compass Group which offers today a wide range of products from charter flights, cargo and heavy good transports, to support, maintenance and operating of aircraft up to the development and sale of maritime safety technology. As an EASA PART 145 Approved Maintenance Organization (AT.145.003). Aerotechnik provides all-round care and maintenance for airplanes of up to 5.7 tonnes take-off weight, including the following piston-engine Aircraft, Turboprops, Jets and Helicopters:

  • Cessna Conquest I and II
  • Piper Cheyenne Series
  • Beech King Air
  • Cessna Citation I, II and IV
  • Citation CJ1 and CJ2,
  • Puma and Super Puma Helicopters
  • Bell Helicopters


Furthermore, Aerotechnik has specialised in electronic equipment from radio sets to the weather radar, autopilot systems and global positioning systems.
Since its establishment as an aircraft maintenance facility, Aerotechnik has functioned as a Cessna Service Centre selling a wide spectrum of quality products.

Aerotechnik's sole agencies for Bambi Bucket in Austria and the Bambi Bucket Repair Centre Europe round off our range. As a further service Aerotechnik can offer hangar space plus infrastructure.
